Bright Nights 2011

If you are ever on Interstate 91N after dark this time of year, crossing into Massachusetts you can see through the trees, holiday lights a glow. Those holiday lights are from Bright Nights, a holiday light show at Forest Park in Springfield, MA. Bright Nights is open daily through January 1, 2012 from 5PM to 9PM on Monday through Thursday and from 5PM to 11PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $18 per car on Monday through Thursday and $21 per car on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Bright Lights is celebrating its 17th season and has received numerous awards, including the International Festival & Events Association Award for four consecutive years – 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

I love the holiday and really enjoy the holiday light shows. I had never been to Bright Nights before, but will add it to my list of annual holiday events. I hope you enjoy the video tour below:

If you decide to go see Bright Nights, leave early in the evening. This is a very popular light show and the lines are very long. The wait will be worth it.
