Ice Skating Returns to Hartford’s Bushnell Park

iQuilt presents Hartford Winterfest starting at 4pm on November 25th and running thru President’s Day, on February 20. The rink will be open daily from 11am to 9pm, with 45 minute skating sessions. On Friday and Saturday evenings, between 6pm and 7pm there will skating shows. This year’s rink will be larger than last year’s rink, allowing up to 140 skaters instead of only 70 skaters.

Again it will be FREE, or at least that is the plan. In order to keep it free, iQuilt  is in search of 1,000 pairs of gently used ice
skates. If you have skates to donate they can be dropped off at:

  • The Atrium at Hartford 21
  • City Hall Atrium
  • Bushnell Memorial and Performing Arts Center Lobby
  • Champions Skating Rinks in Simsbury, Cromwell, and Bolton.

Relax! Be a kid again! Bring your kids! Lace up those skates and have fun. Stop by on November 25th at 4pm for the grand opening ceremonies and welcome in the holiday season.
